The Outgoing Kisii County Youth President Dennis Orioki has been  endorsed by the Kisii county youth for a  Senatorial seat come 2022. More political leaders have endorsed the bid in what can be seen as a political game changer in Kisii County.

Led by Kisii County Assembly Majority Chief Whip Hon. John Ombati the leaders said the Senatorial hopeful has what it takes to take the County leadership to the next level.

‘He has been a youth leader in this County. His record speaks for itself. He and Ongwae have same mandate except the latter has financial muscle by virtue of being a Governor with annual budget of more than 7 billion”, said Ombati during the Kisii Central ward youth meeting in Nyaribari chache.

Mr. Ombati who was accompanied by more than 15 members of Kisii Assembly hinted that any political merger must have a face of a young strong  mind and articulate.

Kiogoro Member of County Assembly Samuel Apoko said he was impressed that the young people when in groups can propel the economic agenda that can change the lives of the residents of Kisii County.

Mr. Orioki has been the Kisii county Youth President an organization he has molded to champion for youth activities as well as empower them economically across the two Gusii counties.
