Nyamira County deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has said his eyes are strongly focused on succeeding his boss  Governor John Nyagarama in 2022.

Speaking during an interview with one of the local stations show, Mr Nyaribo said that his advisory role and help to his boss and experience will help him make a better option for voters to implement among many projects for only one term.

“Nyamira residents should consider me for the Governors post in 2022 basing on what the duo have achieved in the years in office”, said Nyaribo duri.

Nyaribo who was put to task by listeners said that he is only an adviser to the governor and given the opportunity he will improve on the residents lives by providing and initiating more development projects in one term.”I have been the Deputy Governor advising Nyagarama accordingly on matters leadership and if given the opportunity at that time i will put to task what i have as the county boss,” said Nyaribo.

Mr Nyaribo has however maintained that they are in a good working relationship with his boss dispelling rumours of a fallout with Governor Nyagarama saying he will be in ODM to stay as he believes in democracy in leadership and not politics based on handouts and hatred same as their party leader and Party ideologies.

“If Nyamira people accepts to give the opportunity to serve them as governor I will only serve for five years and if they can’t give me a chance I am ready to retire and go to cultivate cabbages in my farm,” said the Deputy Governor.
