The head of construction and quantity surveyor Moses Nyakiongora has warned those that are opposed to building of roads in different areas as witnessed in Nairobi recently.
Speaking to journalists after completion of a funds drive in Nyabisase secondary school on Friday to help build a dormitory, Nyakiongora said that it has been long overdue in solving issues of people who bring up buildings on road reserves.
“It’s a little bit of a concern to see people vowing not to move from where they have been living before to pave way for a road construction”, said Nyakiongora who added that there was letter that was served to the owners of the buildings and tenants to vacate paving way for road construction but they chose to ignore it.
