Nyakeyo School students released on bond over arson Charges

Ten students  from Nyakeyo  School  have been released  at Kisii law court on a bond of  50,000  each with  one a surety  over arson charges. Appearing on Friday  before  senior residents Magistrate Sympie Makila. The students were  allegedly on Tuesday  torching houses in Kegogi ward, Kitutu chache north, Kisii county against the law. Shock as 9 girls in Nyamira school are pregnant

Parents and other Stakeholders in  Matutu P.A.G Secondary school in Gesima Ward,Kitutu Masaba Constituency, Nyamira county have been schocked after nine teenagers of theSchoolwere found to be pregnant .

A Tour to the School by the Gusii star was encountered by more than three girls with protruding stomachs  walk towards the school kitchen to take their lunch meals.

Though the school principal, Mr.Charles Osoro at first declined to attend to Scribes, it took the innervation of the County Director for Education (CDE) Mr.Nelson Sifuna who cooled him down and though, unwillingly lay bare the information.
