Who are you and how can we describe your cooking?

 Am Joseph Buluma working as a chef at the Spot –Kisii. I joined this industry 12 years ago at Kisii hotel.

 My work as a chef is really fantastic. I enjoy it very much more especially when I serve my clients.

 What’s the strangest thing we would find in your refrigerator?

In my refrigerator you can find Nyamachoma, tomatoes since I use to preserve it.

 If you could eat anywhere in the world where would that be?

 I prefer Britain because the Kind of food found there compares to African food.

 When you are serving a Briton you always start with soup which gives you enough time to do setting for other food.

Is there one comfort food that you’re secretly obsessed with having at home?

 Indigenous Vegetables

Which talent would you like to have that you don’t possess?

Being  an Engineer but unfortunately I did not make it.

 What is the favorite meal to make for friends?

My comfort food at home is beef, chicken and rice. I enjoy it very much simply because if Visitors come they will enjoy with you and help you get mileage once they leave your home.

 Who is your mentor in this Industry?

John Waigara who used to guide me when I was working at Kisii Hotel as a waiter.

What was your favorite class in culinary school?

I preferred cooking since in most cases a chef only coordinates

 If you could cook for and dine with anyone, who would that be?

I would like to cook for President Uhuru and prepare for him an African Meal

If you could not be a chef who would you be?

 An Engineer, when I was in school I was aspiring to be an Engineer but my dream never came true only to find myself in cooking Industry.
