In the petition papers filed at the Kisii Law Courts on Monday, Thomson Osoro of Rigena Human Right group ,said it was wise for the public to be aware how much it was raised and how it was used.

Tomson Osoro who enjoins Wiper Democratic Movement, Orange Democratic Movement leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Raila Odinga in the suit for orchestrating the fundraiser after the leaders had started the campaign at the height of the industrial strike in September 2015 by the teachers to press for higher pay from their employer.

They urged Kenyans of goodwill to contribute to Safaricom playbill number 672672.
Osoro now wants to know if the money was ever withdrawn and of what use it was put to by the accused, adding that if the money still exists be used in the fight against COVID 19 pandemic.
