Deputy President William Ruto has called leaders to shun from divisive politics adding that Kenya has no time for chaos.
The DP toured Kisii county on Thursday received warm reception landed from his supporters despite earlier protests by ODM youths.
Ruto said police should not be be used to achieve selfish interests of anybody, noting that security agencies should exercise restraint at all times and allow Wananchi to exercise their basic freedoms.
He added more than 1Million Kenyans have lost their jobs following Covid Pandemic hence its role of government to set up measures on how they will help youths and those who lost jobs.
Ruto also said that he campaigned for the Jubilee Party and ensured it secured victory during the last two elections., terming as a joke the ongoing attempts to block him from ascending to the Presidency.
Dp was accompanied by Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, South Mugirango Slyvauns Osoro,West Mugirango Mp Vincent Kemosi,Bomachoge Borabu Alfa Miruka among others.
