Dg Maangi supports BBI says it will save the country from constant pre-electoral tensions.

Kisii 06 November 2020 ………..Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has supported the Building Bridges Initiative noting that it would save the country from constant pre-electoral tensions that spark conflicts, adding that its is good as it a win -win situation.

He at the same time says that   issues raised by the Deputy President William Ruto are valid and should be taken to consideration before the final stages are made.

According to Dg creation the office of the opposition leader in parliament will bring to an end electoral challenges which the country has been facing when one has been defeated in an presidential election.

About increasing allocations to county governments Maangi welcomed the BBI  proposal by saying this will improve development at the grassroots. 

” We have been advocating for this so that our counties can be developed, through this we are going to have more projects and service delivery close to the people ” He said

The Kisii Deputy Governor who was speaking to journalists at his Ogembo home in Bomachoge Borabu said Tangatanga supporters were not rejecting BBI in total for ‘it contains very forward looking proposals’ helpful to the country.
