Kisii 26 November 2020………Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has said now the Building bridges initiative (BBI )report has started to be attractive after some changes was made on it before the launch of collection of signatures which was done on Wednesday by the president Kenyataa and Former Prime minister Raila Odinga.
Addressing the press on Thursday at his residential home , Maangi thanked President Uhuru for listening to the concerned raised by other Kenyans and through that changes was made.
” I thank the President for listening to concerns from Many groups , individuals who raised some aspects about BBI report , if you look at the document which has come out today you can realize that changes which was proposed by some people including the Deputy President william Ruto has been catered including making the Senate upper house and Many More” Said Maangi.
According to Maangi its now a clear indication that the President is listening to Kenyans who called for some changes which has been done making the document more attractive which will being amicable way forward as early the Deputy President William Ruto says.
He added that they are doing consultation on the way forward over the report and he is sure that they will come out with acceptable way of moving forward.
About Omogusii Unity Maangi has said that its very important to have united community and speak in one voice hence people should stop worrying his new relationship with Cabinet secretary for interior Fred Mating’i.
“Have been working with Cs Fred Matiang’i for realizing the need for our community working together , you can belong to various political groups but as a community we must stand together if we are going to bargain power, you know politics is all about development and if coming together is the way to go then we should stop spending more time in fighting each other and spend more time working together for the better future of the community ” stated Dg Maangi
