Class six pupil commits suicide after being forced to go back to school.

A class six pupil at Nyamakoroto primary school in Nyamira County has committed suicide after he was forced to go back to school.

The 14 year old boy had never reported to school since last week when schools reopened and when the area chief accompanied him to ensure he reported, he never went back only his body to be found dangling from an avocado tree.

The pupils hanged himself with a sisal rope within their homestead in the morning.

Police visited the scene and moved the body to Gucha hospital mortuary awaiting for autopsy.

On another incident in Kisii County a class three pupil in Marani Sub county, Kitutu Chache North last evening committed an accidental suicidal while playing with his friends with a hanging rope in their house.

The children were playing a game in reference to an incident they witnessed a person commit suicide by hanging himself with a rope.

According to his mother, the pupil came home in the evening and told her they were sent to fetch birth certificates the following day.

“He went inside changed his uniform and started playing with his friends,in the process he went silent when playing this is when his friends notified me, “said his mother.

She was shocked to see her son hanging in the living room.

The body was taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital mortuary awaiting for postmortem.
