Nyamira 22 January 2021………………. Leaders from Kisii and Nyamira counties have been called upon to shun from wrangles but come together for the prosperity of the region.

Speaking at Tombe girls high school in Kitutu Masaba constituency Nyamira county on Friday when he opened various projects , Cabinet secretary for interior and coordination Fred Matiang’i said that its high time for the leaders to talk to one another.

I want to ask leaders, i know that we are going to have time and discuss it very soon, but let me take this opportunity as a public servant and resident of Nyamira to plead with you that lets talk to one another , we have enough senior people ,enough elders , we have church leaders who can bring all leaders and have a talk ,because things we are seeing going around are not good for our county” said Cs Matiang’i

According to Cs Matiang’i its so embarrassing for the Community to contuine being in wrangles which has dragged development for many years.

Matiang’i added that its time for leaders to set measures which are meant for development for instant building of schools and many other projects.

“There is many embarrassing things which we don’t want to say here, ECD centers in Nyamira the contract has never been renewed ,instead of looking on such issues People are busy dwelling on wrangles which has no any values to the community. ” Posed Cs Matiang’i

Called upon the leaders led by Senator Mogeni , Women rep Jerusha Momanyi and Kitutu Masaba Member Of parliament Shadrack Mose among other leaders to start an initiate of bringing all leaders together .

This comes after some wrangles have been emerged in Nyamira county after the Members of county assembly rejected the nomination Of James Gesami as the Deputy Governor .
