More projects will boost Nyamira county Says Bosire as he hails Governments.

Nyamira 26 February 2021……………….. Abagusii council of elders general secretary  Samuel Bosire  Angwenyi  who hails  from Nyamira county has hailed  both the County Government of Nyamira and the National Government for initiating projects which will empower Nyamira residents.


 Speaking to  Gusii  star,  Bosire noted that initiating of Development  projects in Nyamira county is  a big   achievements since the inception  of counties . 

We are very delighted to here that the Government has initiated a project  of constructing  of Airstrip at Kiendege in Kemera  ward, for me this is  a good initiative which will boost Nyamira county since the inception of counties  , it has been perceived that Nyamira county has been left out in development projects but now we are set to enjoy fruits of devolution, ” Said Bosire 

 Bosire also  noted that  construction of  Manga  Stadium , Nyamaiya stadium  will boost sports in the county , since Nyamira is well renown of producing best sportsman in the past after Naftali Temu became Kenya’s first gold medalist when he won the 10,000 meters race at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City.


” Construction of the stadiums will improve our sports activities  , Nyamira is well know for sports activities , once those stadiums are complete  as  Our Able Cs Fred Matiangi and Governor Nyaribo  noted , sports in our county will  be   identified  and produce more people like Temu ” he added 


Bosire added that the construction of Road  networks in the County will also ease and boost   transport  in the region.


 He also appealed to the government to ensure they initiate more projects by allocating more funds to Keroka general Hospital, also the Nyamira Universities which among other projects.

“When all this projects will be completed , we get reforms in Coffee and Tea sectors , Nyamira will be in a better position of competing with other Counties” he added.
