Will ODM manage Kiamokama Ward seat as clans expected to dominate.

Kisii Kenya 02 March 2021………. Bruising campaigns in the Kiamokama Ward by- election in Kisii has entered the homestretch as electorates awaits to elect their Member of County assembly on Thursday 4 March 2021.

Supporters from different Political parties On Monday campaigned vigorous as ODM Brigade was led by County Governor James Ongwae and Senator Sam Ongeri in support to ODM candidate Malack Matara .

Team Daniel Ondabu (Party of Economic Democrasy) and Nyandusi Nyakeramba of UDA party also camapihgned in the area each one hoping of victory.

Ondabu is former district county Commissioner and is linked to the former Kenya Ports Authority Managing Director Daniel Manduku who is seeking Kisii Governorship.

According to Manduku they will win by adding that already they have 70 percent of the voters as Ondab is on the backing of his larger Abanyamoyio and Abamobea clans.

He would however have to plough through two other candidates from the clan – Adam’s and Atanga in the countdown to the polls

Matara (ODM) will be banking hope on Omonyakoni clans.

Nyandusi Nyakeramba of DP William Ruto affiliate party UDM will be depending on voters Momanyasicho clan to win.

Others are Nyakundi Nyamori, (Maendeleo Chapu Chapu), Dominic Nyangaresi (Kenya National Congress) Jared Nyaega (Narc).

Also in the race is Charles Omwenga of PEP party and Vincent Gekone, an Independent candidate.
