Nyamira Kenya 25 March 2021…………. A section of Nyamira county leaders have been blamed for igniting wrangles and undermining   the leadership of Governor Amos  Nyaribo.

According to Nyaribo  the current problems that have been witnessed at the Assembly for some days now has been iniatited  by section of leaders who are determined to disorient him from his new responsibility.

Nyaribo lamented that there is some forces behind the MCAs and it’s only the  matter of time before he takes the battle against them all.

The Governor gave an example of the most recent happening when the Executive and Assembly took a retreat to Mombasa for a weeklong bonding session but some of them ended up being swayed by people the Governor said were his detractors.

“We went to Coast for a bonding session but the same forces that have been undermining still prevailed there and took a section of the MCAs to a different place,” Nyaribo said.

The Governor said MCAs were becoming a big barrier to his bid to deliver development projects before the next general election.

“You are elected by Nyamira electrotes who deserves to be served with development projects not wrangles here and there,,”Nyaribo told them adding that they will face people wrath at the ballot

The Governor said this when he commissioned the construction of 300 kilometers of roads using the National Government’s Mechanical Transfer Fund(MTF).

He  noted that every ward will benefit with 15 kilometers of roads whose construction will be ongoing for the next six months.
