Kisii Kenya 11 MAY 2021………Schools in Kisii County are celebrating exemplary performances in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE released on Monday.

According to the Principals of Various schools interviewed   by Gusii star have attributed the good results to the hardworking, devoted student, Teaching staff, who worked tirelessly despite of Covid 19 challenges.

St Charles Lwanga Ichuni Girls  High school Principal Mrs. Mary Lucy Abidha, said that good performance was as a result of hard work and good relationship between learners and teachers, high level of discipline among the factors which lead the school to take more than 310 students to secure their direct entry to the university.

 Madam Principal said that the school managed to achieve positive deviation of 0.42 from last year’s results making it a mean grade of 8.12 in 2020 KCSE results from the enrollment of 360.

Above all the factors I want to state that discipline was the major factor to the results since the girls understand why they are in school and work without being pushed, “she told Gusii star  adding that  Team work was also the factor from the staff and other stakeholders

I want to  thank  all our teachers  who have been  working tireless and extra mile, I real appreciate  them and hope they will, continue for our best” she said

 Madam also hailed the sponsor for their moral support led By Bishop Joseph Mairura.

Ichuni Girls school which is Nyaribari Masaba Constituency Ichuni ward has been doing well for many years and hoping they will continue excelling.

The school had A- 19 B+47 B93 B-78 C+66 among other grades.
