Bonchari by election goes on smoothly.

Kisii Kenya 18 May 2021…………The voting exercise in Bonchari by-election is ongoing smoothly without any hiccups

Many polling stations opened doors at 6 am to enable residents to cast their vote as most of them visited in early in the morning .

Before casting, voters were required to wear masks and sanitize and their temperatures taken at entry points across the stations

Most of the candidates have voted at their various polling votes .

Among those who have voted include Jubilee candidate Zebedeo OPore , ODM candidate Pavel Oimeke, UDA candidate Teresa Bitutu , Maendeleo Chap chap Margret , Mary Otara (United Green Party)

Stakes are high for candidates  Zebedeo Opore (Jubilee), Pavel Oimeke (ODM)) and Teresa Oroo Bitutu.

Other candidates include Jonah Ondieki ( New Democrats)  Victor Omanwao (People’s Economic Development (PED), Charles Mogaka- Progressive Party of Kenya (PPK), David Ogega-(Kenya Social Congress), Kevin Mosomi-PDU, and Eric Oigo- National Reconstruction Alliance.

Speaking to Gusii star after casting her Vote at Suneka primary polling station Teresa Bitutu said that the exercise started peaceful despite the challenges they faced during Campaigns .

on his part Mary Otara (United Green Party) said that she hopes for the best .
