Kisii Kenya 18 May 2021……….The three horse candidates have cast their votes at various poling station as they urge voters to turn out in large number to elect a visionary leader.

Jubilee Candidate Zebedeo Opore, UDA Teresa Bitutu and ODM Pavel Oimeke have cast their votes.

UDA Candidate Teresa Bitutu casted her vote at Suneka Primary, Jubilee zebedeo Opore at Nyamiobo and ODM candidate Pavel Oimeke at Kimware poling station.

Addressing the press after casting vote, Mr Opore said that the exercise is going on smoothly, calling electorates to remain calm and vote wisely .

In a separate interview UDA candidate Teresa Bitutu said that despite of the peaceful exercise, some of her supporters were harassed yesterday.

Bitutu said that if elected she will complete the projects which were initiated by her late husband Oroo Oyioka.

She called upon IEBC to conduct free and fair election and leave the electorates to choose their leader.

ODM candidate Pavel Oimeke ask for a calm and peaceful exercise.

Returning officer Benson Ambuko said they are set and prepared to deliver free and fair election.

The constituency has 50,955 registered voters with 103 polling stations in the four wards.

The seat was left vacant after the demise of the late Oroo Oyioka and it attracted 13 candidates .

Those in the race are- Teresa Bitutu, Oroo’s widow, United Democratic Alliance ( UDA), party Mary Sally Otara, United Green Movement ( UGM), Zebedeo Opore, Jubilee Party, Pavel Oimeke, Jeremiah Atancha, Agano, David Ogega, Kenya Social Congress ( KSC), Kevin Mosomi, Party of Democracy Unity ( PDU), Jonah Ondieki, Eric Oigo, National Reconstruction alliance ( NRA), Magret Gesare, Maendeleo Chap Chap, Paul Matagaro,, Mwangaza Tu and Victor Omanwa, Party of Economic Democracy ( PDU) and Charles Mogaka Progressive Party of Kenya ( PPK)
