Police on the spot over harassment of bodaboda riders.

 
Bodaboda riders from Keroka town want the Independent Police Oversighting Authority (IPOA) to take up a case where one of them was allegedly brutalized by policemen.
According to the Nyamira County Bodaboda riders association Bernard Orindo and his Masaba Counterpart Dominic Babu, Dancan Ombaye was beaten and grievously harmed by three Administration Policemen who had forced him to carry them from Keroka Town to their work station at Tondori, where Sub county offices are situated.
   
The rider is said to have lost control of the motorcycle on a steep road and toppled over, making them fall due to their weight.

Remandees urged to embrace plea bargain to charges

The office of Director  of Public Prosecution(DPP)   has asked  remandees  to  embrace  plea  bargaining  to the charges  in order  to reduce backlog and delay   cases  in court  .
According to the  DPP  by doing so it will lessen  the  amount  of work  and decongestion  in Court.
Delays  of cases, backlog  of cases,  accessing legal  presentation  and huge  bond  has been highly as the main challenge  facing most of the prisons .
